Two Israeli soldiers were killed and several others were wounded today in Hezbollah attacks on the northern part of Israel, the Israeli army (IDF) announced.
The dead soldiers were identified as Nael Fwarsy (43), commander of the logistics company in the 299th battalion of the 300th “Baram” Regional Brigade, originally from Maghar and Sergeant Tomer Keren (20), a member of the 51st battalion of the Golani Brigade, from Haifa.
Fwarsy was killed and a soldier was slightly wounded when an explosive drone launched by Hezbollah hit an area outside Ya’ara, in the western Galilee.
Keren was killed and eight other soldiers were wounded, including one seriously, after two anti-tank rockets fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon hit a position in the Ramim Ridge area of the Galilee border, Klix.ba writes.
