“In 2013, by accident, two organizations Lift and Crveno rediscover this place and decided to intervene and to explore how it can become more than it was, a more common space,” as written on the website of Dani Arhitekture.
“The building Marijin Dvor is one of the most important examples of the Austro-Hungarian (central European) palaces in Sarajevo. It was built in stages from 1885 to 1899 as a resident and commercial building in the form of a block with four sides. Inside the block is placed the most beautiful and largest garden in the city, popularly called Marindvorsko,” as written in the description of the project.
