Today at Camp Butmir, COM EUFOR Major General Florin Marian Barbu, DCOM EUFOR Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana, and COS EUFOR Brigadier General Tibor Szabó joined EUFOR HQ staff to bid farewell to DCOS Intelligence Colonel Ionuț Moldoveanu of the Romanian Armed Forces and to warmly welcome his successor, Colonel Silvestro Pasquale of the Italian Armed Forces.

In recognition of his outstanding service, Major General Barbu awarded Colonel Moldoveanu the Common Security and Defence Policy Service Medal for Operation ALTHEA and the Commander’s Commendation—the highest honor from the Commander of EUFOR in BiH.

Brigadier General Szabó also presented him with the COS EUFOR Plaque of Honor as a token of deep appreciation.

In his remarks, Major General Barbu expressed heartfelt thanks for Colonel Moldoveanu’s exceptional contribution to EUFOR and wished him continued success in his future assignments.
