Today is the Day of Remembrance for the Murdered Children of Sarajevo, and the Government of the Sarajevo Canton has declared May 5th a Day of Mourning.
On this occasion, the Assembly and Government of the Sarajevo Canton, together with the Association of Parents of Murdered Children, are organizing a flower-laying ceremony at 10:00 AM at the Memorial to the Murdered Children of the Besieged Sarajevo 1992-1995.
According to the Association, 1,601 children were killed.
