Houthis from Yemen fired a rocket at Ben Gurion Airport in the Israeli capital Tel Aviv.

In a statement from the Israeli army, it is stated that the fall of a projectile was reported in the central part of Israel.

It is added that, after sirens were sounded in several Israeli regions, attempts were launched to intercept the rocket fired from Yemen, but it was confirmed that a strike occurred near Ben Gurion Airport.

Israeli media also confirmed that the airport in Tel Aviv was hit and that all air traffic was suspended due to the attack.

Houthis from Yemen occasionally target Israel with ballistic missiles and drones, accusing it of violating the ceasefire and resuming intense attacks on the Gaza Strip.
