“Detainees were transported by trucks from Prijedor camps Keraterm and Omarska. They were tied by wires and brought to the hole on the pit after which they were shot and thrown into the pit. After shooting, the criminals threw bombs into the pit to kill all of those who were still showed the signs of life,” said the President of the Association of Prison Camp Detainees of B&H, Jasmin Mešković.

He added that one of the detainees, Ibrahim Ferhatović, managed to free himself from the criminals after the shooting and escape into the woods.

“Ferhatović managed to pass the information on what happened on Hrastova glavica and how many people were killed. However, he was arrested near Sanski Most and killed in the action of the army and police of the Republic of Srpska. Since then, every track of him was lost,” said Mešković.
