“These April days are very important for Sarajevo and the whole of BiH,” Minialio said at the beginning.
The sources of evil will be researched and analyzed for a long time
He then asked those present to observe a minute of silence in honor of the fighters who gave the most precious thing for the free life of their people, their lives.
“Please keep silent and honor the memory of thousands of unarmed women and children who became victims of the occupier who at the cost of someone else’s life seeks to realize hellishly sick dreams and who see everything differently as dangerous and evil,” said Miniailo, Avaz writes.
As he stated, Ukrainians have been fighting for 45 days, and it is difficult for him to find words to describe his feelings.
“Anger, horror, rage, longing for revenge … It seems to me that these, and any other words that describe emotions, are too banal after what we see in the footage from Ukrainian cities. Millions of Ukrainians have already stopped marveling at the actions of Moscow hordes that have invaded Ukraine with one goal, to kill, plunder, rape and destroy all living beings, he added.
With deep gratitude to foreign leaders and states that help us defend our independence and right to life, I am increasingly interested in the question – how is it possible to be deaf, blind, neutral and indifferent to human suffering and sorrow – said Miniailo.
As he pointed out, even after the victory of Ukraine, philosophers and political scientists will spend a long time researching and analyzing the sources of evil that has its supporters not only in Moscow, but also in Europe.
Together to victory
“I want to thank you for not being indifferent and for finding your own way to show that you don’t care. I understand that your presence here is a manifestation of your fight against what has already happened and what can be repeated, and that is the fight against the bombing of hospitals and schools, kindergartens and homes, evacuation and humanitarian convoys. Fight for a better future, for your children and all of you,” he added.
”I have no doubt that we will win the fight against this evil, because the truth is on our side. Together until the victory, long live Bosnia and Herzegovina, glory to Ukraine,” Miniailo concluded.
