The hydropower plant “Višegrad” made a net profit last year of 3.96 million KM despite the hydrolic oscillations and slight reduction in the volume of production, said the Director Mile Lakić.
He said that this company produced 857,84 gigawatt hours of electricity last year, which is 20 percent more than production in 2011.
“In the last four years of work we have made a total profit of more than 22,5 million KM, which shows that this period was the most successful one since the “Višegrad” plant is in operation’’, said Lakić for Pres RS.
The production plan for this year is 909 gigawatt hours of electricity and this is feasible, according to Lakić’s assessment.
“As of the first half of March of this year, the realized production amounts to 310 gigawatt hours, which is 29 percent more than the current annual plan. With this, we provide significant supplies in production and we can be optimistic that we will switch the plan for 2013”, said Lakić.
He noted that in this year and in the period up to 2015, the largest scope of investments in the hydro power plant has been planned and added investments will amount to 123,6 million KM.
