Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who wish to visit Taiwan from November 20th this year will be able to apply for a visa online, which will greatly shorten and facilitate the visa application process.

According to a statement from Taiwan’s representative office in Hungary, Bosnian and Herzegovinian travelers traveling to Taiwan for tourism, business, visiting relatives, attending an international conference or participating in a sporting event will be able to apply online for free.

Once the visa is approved, BiH citizens will need to print it and show it at the immigration checkpoint when they arrive in Taiwan.

An electronic visa is valid for three months and visitors can stay in the country for a maximum of 30 days. “Visa facilitation is intended to make it easier for BiH citizens to travel and do business in Taiwan.

Applicants can contact the Consular Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) for more information,” was stated in a notice sent by the BiH Embassy in Hungary.
