The recent statement of reis Husein ef. Kavazovic‘s statement that the state should be defended with weapons in the event that the institutions fall was met with an already well-established mass attack from the Republika Srpska (RS) entity led by Milorad Dodik, but also from the parties gathered around the Croatian National Assembly (HNS) led by the HDZ.
Reis was attacked because he declared that the state should be defended at all costs, and he was attacked by those who call for its dismantling, breaking up, splitting and secession. He was also attacked by those who wanted new territorial reorganizations, cantons based on the majority people, then those who wanted to occupy the barracks of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH), award decorations to Putin, arm the police as if they were an army and insult them on every basis, deny the genocide and they glorify convicted war criminals.
Although the ultimate goal of their attacks was actually to present Muslims, through the leader of the Islamic Community of BiH, as extremists and terrorists who are ready for an armed conflict, Reis only said that the patriots would defend the homeland of BiH, and they exist in all nations and all religions. As in the times when the aggression against BiH began in 1992.
This topic quickly moved to social networks, where the Srebrenica Memorial Center also posted a photo of Kavazovicfrom the war camp.
“Reis Husein Kavazovic is an exceptional individual who showed tremendous resilience and courage in the face of unimaginable adversity. He survived six months of excruciating torture in a concentration camp managed by the Croatian Defense Council (HVO),” they wrote alongside the photo of Husein ef. Kavazovic from the time he was a prisoner in the HVO camp in 1993.
In May 1993, Kavazovic was the mufti of Tuzla, and then he was captured with several other people at the HVO point in Drecelj near Konjic, after which they were taken to the Turija camp, where he remained until October of the same year.
Despite all that, Kavazovic often said that not all people are the same and that nations are not to blame for crimes and that it is necessary to build peace and a united BiH. Specifically, speaking about the genocide in Srebrenica, he said that the crimes were committed by Chetniks, not Serbs, and that not all Serbs were Chetniks.
And finally, which country does not defend itself in every possible way, if its institutions fall or the country is attacked!?, Klix.ba reports.
