At the end of February, that is, at the beginning of March 2026, 108,358 blocked accounts of business entities were recorded in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or 195 more than a month earlier, according to data from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the new report, which contains 4,387 (8 more than the previous month), it was also stated that at the end of February, that is, at the beginning of March this year, 59,193 companies had at least one blocked account, which is 104 more accounts compared to the previous month.
In this updated report of blocked accounts listed in the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Unified Register of Accounts, legal entities from all spheres of social life are listed, from businesses, shops, hair salons, gas stations, pharmacies, surgeries, cafes and restaurants, to various agencies, cooperatives, and companies. This list also includes mines, local communities, municipalities, sports associations…
In the first report of the Central Bank of BiH, published at the beginning of November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
