The second black box from the “Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner” aircraft of the “Air India” company was found at the crash site.
The information stored on the device could help investigators determine the cause of the accident in which 274 people were killed.
The first black box was found two days ago at the crash site.
The passenger plane, which was flying to London, crashed on Thursday, June 12th, shortly after taking off from the airport in Ahmedabad, in western India.
Indian aviation authorities confirmed that there were 242 people on board the plane, including two pilots and ten flight attendants.
Local media reported that the plane crashed onto the roof of a student dormitory. On the ground, 33 people were killed, including ten medical students.
