Indonesia Opens Applications for 2025 KNB Scholarship for Students from Developing Countries

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has announced the opening of applications for the Developing Countries Partnership (KNB) Scholarship for the 2025 year. This initiative aligns with Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening human resource development in developing countries and promoting the internationalization of Indonesian higher education.

The KNB Scholarship is available to international students from developing countries, offering the opportunity to pursue Bachelor’s (S1), Master’s (S2), and Doctoral (S3) degrees at 34 leading universities in Indonesia. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living allowances, and additional benefits to support students throughout their studies.

Scholarship Registration Process

• Eligibility: Open to students from developing countries who meet academic and administrative requirements.

• Required Documents: Applicants must submit a Curriculum Vitae, passport, English proficiency test results (for non-English speaking countries), recommendation letters, academic certificates, and transcripts.

• Recommendation Letter: Applicants need a recommendation letter from the Embassy or Consulate General of Indonesia in their country of origin.

• Online Registration: The application period runs from March 3, 2025, to March 21, 2025, via the official KNB Scholarship website: https://knb.kemdiktisaintek.go.id/

• Announcement of Results: Selected candidates will be announced on June 30, 2025.
