The severely injured man, who was found by members of the Prenj State Rescue Service on Saturday, was evacuated by EUFOR helicopter to Sarajevo.
The Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) Prenj received information that an adult male was injured on the Prenj mountain (Osobac peak) on October 13 around 3 p.m.
As announced on Monday by the Association of Mountain Rescue Services in BiH – GSSUBiH, eight members of the GSS Prenj station went to the field and found the injured in a very bad condition with multiple fractures.
The injured man was medically treated and evacuated by EUFOR helicopter around 10 pm to Sarajevo, according to the press release.
