His name is Enis Cisic and he is working for two years for one of the most prestigious comics’ publishers in the world, the iconic “Marvel”. His life turned 180 degrees when he met Chester B. Cebulski, Marvel’s “hunter” on talented artists, at the festival of comics Mafest in Makarska. As in every story, the road to success is bumpy and not easy at all.
“My trip to Makarska was questionable, because I could not get vacation. However, when there’s a will there’s a way. I arrived at Mafest where I met Chester, I showed him my portfolio and I got an amazing opportunity that could not to be missed. The task was to pick one of four of their comics, and to draw my own version. I chose the “Moon Knight” and I did the best I could,” said Enis, adding that he waiting for response for “way too long” month, after which his life got another meaning.
“The editor in chief of Marvel called me to say that I got the job. I could not believe that they chose me. Shortly after that, I received my first project, which was to draw 30 pages of comics “Original sin annual”. I had to finish it in “only” a month, in order to convince editors that I am dedicated and creative.
After the first project that he did perfectly, he received the offer for new one, to draw the main characters of Avengers Millenium.
Although he has an interesting job, Enis is just another “normal” guy who lives with his girlfriend Ivana, his support and life partner.
