Allegedly, the Director of Juventus Beppe Marotta was in Rome where he had a meeting with Pjanić, who accepted the five-year contract with the club from Torino.
Pjanić will earn 4.5 million EUr per season with additional bonuses. Juventus certainly made the right move.
Rome was resisting the attacks from other clubs on the BiH midfielder, but with the injury of Antonio Rudiger who was also a potential source of good income, the club decided to let the BiH football player go.
Official confirmation of the transfer is yet to come, but that should happen soon.
