Israel attacked Lebanon Overnight, IDF claims Hezbollah Commander killed

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) carried out an attack on Lebanon last night in which, they claim, a Hezbollah commander was killed.

The IDF statement, reported by the Times of Israel, states that Abu Ali Rida, the Hezbollah commander in the Barahit area of ​​southern Lebanon, was killed in southern Lebanon.

They add that he was responsible for planning and executing rocket and anti-tank missile attacks on IDF troops and commanded the activities of Hezbollah operatives in the area.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reports that several people were killed in this attack, without specifying who.

They say Israel launched several attacks overnight in southern and eastern Lebanon, including Jebchit, Tefahta, Khiam, Burj al-Muluk, Jouaiya, Halousiya, Deir Qanoun en-Nahr, Qlaileh and the area between Roumina and Aazza.
