Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic reiterated to reporters on Thursday, after the session of the Presidency of BiH, that Kosovo will not be recognized until there is a consensus within BiH on that issue.
Dzaferovic did not want to put that item on the agenda of the session, and a member of the Presidency Zeljko Komsic, as the proposer of that item, withdrew it from the agenda, but the third member of the Presidency of BiH Milorad Dodik insisted on voting on it.
After that, Dodik voted not to recognize Kosovo, and Dzaferovic and Komsic did not vote because, as Dzaferovic said, they had nothing to vote on.
Earlier, on September 17, the position of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Kosovo’s recognition was voted on for the first time, and on that occasion, Komsic and Dzaferovic voted for the recognition of Kosovo’s independence, while Dodik was against.
It was then agreed to go to the second round of voting at the next session, Fena news agency reports.
