Former English football representative Dele Alli (28) will continue his career in the ranks of the Italian first division club Como, the club announced.
Alli signed a contract with Como for 18 months with an option to extend for another year. He comes to the club as a free agent after his contract with Everton expired in July last year.
Como believes in Dele’s potential, his experience and leadership qualities will undoubtedly benefit the team,” said Como’s Spanish manager Cesc Fabregas.
Alli began his professional career at Milton Keynes Dons, where he was considered the greatest talent on the island, then played for Tottenham, Everton and Besiktas.
The former English representative has 194 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 51 goals with 34 assists.
He made 37 appearances for the English national team and scored three goals.
Como is currently in 17th place in Serie A with 19 points, as much as Verona has in 18th position, which leads to a lower rank of the competition, N1 writes.
