Jahorina Will Get 15 Modern Ski Slopes

Olympic Center ‘Jahorina’ has issued a tender for the construction of the main project of the ski slopes, which is anticipated to have ten competition and five recreational slopes according to the highest European standards. This project will result in new modern ski trails, and is expected to be 25 kilometers long.

As indicated in the tender, the procurement refers to the architectural, engineering and integrated engineering services, as well as services of urban planning and landscape engineering, related scientific and technical consulting services and technical testing and analysis.

‘’The ski trails should meet FIS standards and have to be designed in accordance with the Law on public slopes and the Law on physical planning of the RS’’, said Zorica Stojanović, spokesperson of OC “Jahorina”.

According to her, there will be competition and recreational slopes, and will be better than the current ones and will meet European and world standards. She added that this project, which is worth 150.000 BAM without VAT, is financed by OC “Jahorina” from investments. OC “Jahorina” currently has a total of ten slopes, seven red, two black and one blue.
