Amid rumors of a divorce with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez canceled her concert tour, which was planned for July this year.
The news about it was shared by representatives of Live Nation. According to the Daily Mail, Lopez canceled the “This Is Me…Live The Greatest Hits” tour to spend more time with her family.
“Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends. For those who purchased through Ticketmaster, tickets will be automatically refunded, fans do not need to do anything,” they wrote.
Later, through her page OntheJLo, Lopez also spoke out, telling fans that she was sad and devastated that she had let them down.
“I am completely saddened and devastated that I let you down. Please know that I wouldn’t have done this if I didn’t feel it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will repay you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. See you soon “, she wrote.
A source revealed to the media that Lopez was sad to be giving up the tour, but that she simply had to be at home at this time. Although the media wrote that ticket sales for the tour are not going as expected, the source claims the opposite.
“She is taking time off to be with her family and close friends. This was a very difficult decision for Jennifer to make this week and she is sorry for the fans. This decision was not made because of ticket sales as the tour actually did well in most key cities and there has been good growth,” the source said.
