Joint Exhibition of Vienna, Sarajevo and Brno on Occasion of 100th Anniversary of the Outbreak of WWI

On occasion of the 100th anniversary since the start of WWI and the 100 years since the death of the Austrian writer, pacifist and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize Berthe von Suttner, the Vienna Museum MUSA, in cooperation with the Art Gallery B&H from Sarajevo and the Art House from Brno are organizing an exhibition called The Dignity of Humanity.
The exhibition The Dignity of Humanity deals with the issue of the indicators of the loss of human dignity we encounter in our everyday life and what strategies are offered to defend this basic humanistic principle and preserve it from intstrumentalization and commercialization, said MUSA Museum to Fena Agency.
On behalf of the Art Gallery in Sarajevo, works at the exhibition will be presented by artists Mladen Miljanović, Maja Bajević, Damir Nikšić, Edin Numankadić and Milomir Kovačević Strašni. The curators are Maja Abdomerović from Sarajevo, Berthold Ecker and Roland Fink from the Department of Culture of the city of Vienna and Terezie Petišková and Jana Vránová from Brno.
The exhibition The Dignity of Humanity will be open in Vienna from 31 March until 31 May, in Sarajevo it will open on 28 June and last until 2 August, and after Sarajevo the exhibition will travel to Brno, where it will be open to visitors for Fall 2014.
