Jusuf Nurkic is the new Player of the Charlotte Hornets!

Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH) basketball player Jusuf Nurkichas finally changed his destination in the NBA, swapping the Phoenix Suns jersey for that of the Charlotte Hornets.

For days and weeks, it was anticipated that Jusuf Nurkic would change teams after a dispute in Phoenix, where he had completely fallen out of the rotation. At the end of the trade period, he finally managed to do so.

Coach Mike Budenholzer had benched him for an extended period, and as tensions off the court also escalated, leaving the Suns was the only logical solution.

The major trade was confirmed by the most reputable insider, Shams Charania.

Phoenix sent Nurkic and a 2026 first-round draft pick, while Charlotte gave up Cody Martin, Vasilije Micic, and a 2026 second-round draft pick.

This will be Nurkic‘s fourth NBA team since arriving in North America 11 years ago. He previously played for the Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Phoenix Suns.

The trade came at the right time for our basketball player to prove that he was unjustly left out of Phoenix’s recent games. In Charlotte, he is expected to get solid playing time, according to reports.

The Charlotte Hornets currently sit in 14th place, second to last in the Eastern Conference. The team has suffered six consecutive losses, and with Nurkic, they will try to break that losing streak soon.
