Kamala Harris, the US vice president who lost the presidential election in the United States, addressed the public after her defeat by Donald Trump.
Harris thanked everyone who supported her during the campaign, her family, current president Joe Biden, the team that worked on her campaign, stating that she was happy and satisfied with the way it was conducted.
She also stated that she had spoken to Donald Trump and told him that she would help him with a peaceful transfer of power.
“I admit defeat, but I am not giving up on the fight I led in the campaign. The fight for freedom… It is a fight that I will never give up. I will never give up on an America where women have a choice and where schools and streets are protected from guns,” Harris said.
She called on supporters to accept the election results.
