On this occasion, Reeker congratulated Raguž on the election for president of HDZ 1990.
The interlocutors discussed the current political situation in B&H and they focused on the most important political issues and the way of resolving them in order to eliminate the obvious delays of B&H towards the Euro-Atlantic path.
They agreed that the key political factors in B&H should intensify communication in order to not lose the current momentum in the region for the improvement in the situation when the Republic of Croatia is already a member of the European Union and other neighboring countries have a steady progress.
The existing barriers bring great harm in every sense for B&H and it means missing great chances for progress of B&H in every sense.
In this context, they stressed the importance of addressing the issue of military properties in accordance with the previously achieved political agreements and other reform laws.
They highlighted the need for reforms in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the question of reaching an agreement on the outstanding issues, to ensure the conditions for the elections in Mostar and other important issues.
Raguž and Reeker, who is on a three-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, agreed to continue cooperation and communication, that the U.S. official promised continuation of U.S. assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina, was announced from HDZ 1990.
