The Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Željko Komšić, received the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, John Ginkel, with whom he discussed the need to stabilize the political situation, in order to create space for foreign investors and investments.
The importance of diversifying the supply and transport of gas to Bosnia and Herzegovina was particularly emphasized, in which the construction and early commissioning of the Southern Gas Interconnection is of the utmost importance.
Following the decisions of the European Union institutions to interrupt the supply of Russian gas to EU member states, this issue is also of great importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In this regard, strengthening economic cooperation with the United States is also expected, the Public Relations Service of the Presidency of BiH announced.
