The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, will participate on March 17, 2026, in the Conference marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Executive Secretariat of the Central European Initiative (CEI), which is being held in Trieste, at the invitation of the Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy, Antonio Tajani.
The Central European Initiative is the oldest and largest regional initiative in this part of Europe, whose main mission is to strengthen regional cooperation, support European integration and connect countries through political dialogue, economic projects and cultural exchange.
Minister Konaković will participate in the first panel entitled ‘Strengthening the Spirit of the CEI – Closer in the Region, Stronger in Europe’ as part of the official program of the Conference.
The Conference will bring together Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Ministers, Ambassadors and other high-ranking officials from CEI member countries.
Bilateral meetings with colleagues from CEI member countries are also planned on the sidelines of the Conference in Trieste.
