Kosovo allocated 200,000 Euros for Areas affected by Floods in BiH

The Government of Kosovo adopted today the decision on the distribution of budget funds after the devastating floods and landslides in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At today’s electronic meeting, the government decided to allocate 200,000 euros in aid for recovery from natural disasters.

The request for the distribution of these funds was submitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla, on Wednesday.

She said that Kosovo’s solidarity with Bosnia and Herzegovina is needed in these difficult times.

At least 22 people lost their lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a result of floods and landslides after heavy rainfall on October 4.

Earlier this week, the Bosnian Cultural Center in the city of Prizren in the south of Kosovo started a campaign to collect aid for residents affected by floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
