Bosnia and Herzegovina national team member Rade Krunić said that he is happy to have become a new football player of the Turkish Fenerbahce and revealed that the captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, as well as of the club from Istanbul, Edin Džeko, played an important role in his transfer from Milan.
Krunic arrived at Fenerbahce as a loan player with the option to buy out the contract, and he revealed to the club’s television that during the transfer negotiations, he spoke with Dzeko many times.
“Especially this month, I wanted to come to Fenerbahce as soon as possible. Dzeko also wanted me to be here. In general, he told me very nice things about Fenerbahce. I am very happy to be here, just like him,” said Krunic.
Thanking the Fenerbahce fans for their welcome and support, the 30-year-old midfielder Krunic said that the fans wanted his arrival, just as he wanted it.
“I spoke with Edin Džeko and Miha Zajc. They also told me about the atmosphere and the fans. “I was impatiently waiting for this moment to join Fenerbahce,” Krunic said, AA writes.
