The legendary former football player of Football Clun Sarajevo Dženan Uščuplić died from a lightning strike.
According to currently unofficial information, Uščuplić’s death occurred after a lightning strike on Zelengora Mountain, where the former FC Sarajevo footballer was hiking.
As confirmed for N1, the incident took place at a high altitude, which is why the Civil Protection of the Republika Srpska will intervene.
PU Foča said that they have not officially received the application yet.
Dženan Uščuplić was born on August 18, 1975. He was the champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina with Sarajevo, and won the Cup of our country three times.
After his playing career, he remained in coaching. He came to the bench of his beloved club several times, primarily to “save things” after not so good results, and his last job was as a coach of the junior team of FK Sarajevo.
He also played for Željezničar and Olimpik.
