Legendary Indexi got a Memorial Plaque in the Center of Sarajevo

One of the biggest and most popular bands from the region, Indexi, got their memorial plaque in Sarajevo precisely at the place where the band was created.

The initiative was launched by director Nedžad Begović, who published on Facebook how the memorial for the legendary band should look like.

The entire project is now officially implemented.

The memorial is a part of the promenade and it says: “At this place, in September 1962 Ismet Nuno Arnautalić and Šefko Akšanija founded the pop-rock group Index”.
