French President Emmanuel Macron expressed outrage at Israeli attacks on a tent camp for displaced Palestinians in Rafah that killed at least 45 people, mostly women and children.
Macron said he was outraged by the Israeli attack.
“I am outraged by the Israeli attacks that have killed many displaced people. These operations must stop. There are no safe areas in Rafah for Palestinian civilians. I call for full respect for international law and an immediate ceasefire,” Macron wrote on the X social network.
As a reminder, Israeli forces bombed a tent camp housing displaced people in a designated safe zone in Rafah, killing around 40 Palestinians, according to the Wafa news agency. Many victims were women and children.
