According to plans, by the end of March 2018, the UIO will complete this new, state-of-the-art and largest customs terminal and border crossing in BiH.
By opening and putting into operation the new customs terminal Gradiska, the current location of the customs office in the city center will be relocated to a new location, the UIO said.
The border crossing and the old customs terminal in Gradiska is located in the very center of the city and huge crowds are created, especially due to the fact that this is the only crossing in the north of BiH that has the status of BIP, namely various inspection controls for the traffic of all types of goods, including goods of animal and plant origin.
The new border crossing and the Gradiska customs terminal will be located on the highway Banja Luka – Gradiska. The construction of the first phase of the transit and the customs terminal Gradiska, which cost 8.4 million BAM, has already been completed.
The second phase is underway, which is also the final phase and will cost slightly more than 14 million BAM. By building a new border crossing and a customs terminal in Gradiška, the UIO will move the existing customs office located in the center of Gradiska to a new location on the highway Banja Luka – Gradiska.
