Maryland National Guard Members arrive in Sarajevo

This morning, 41 members of the Maryland National Guard arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina, who will participate in the largest State Partnership Program event in our country to date.

They were welcomed at the Sarajevo airport by the Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in BiH, Daniel Koski.

Members of the Maryland National Guard will train with members of the BiH Armed Forces this week, as part of preparations for Defender Europe 25 in Croatia.

The US Embassy emphasized that this cooperation further deepens relations and strengthens regional security.

“A safer and more stable BiH also contributes to a safer and more stable United States,” the Embassy emphasized.
