A mass grave has been found in the Hola region of Homs province, and is believed to contain the remains of civilians killed by the ousted regime of Bashar al-Assad.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reports that expert teams and Civil Defense officials have been sent to the area to uncover the graves.
The Assad regime killed at least 108 civilians, including 49 children and 34 women, in Hola on May 25, 2012.
After regime artillery forces heavily bombarded the region, pro-regime Shabiha militias carried out a horrific massacre and killed civilians in the Hola region.
This is just one in a series of mass graves found in Syria since the overthrow of the Assad regime.
