The ceremony was held within the signing of the Protocol on founding the Malaysian- Bosnian Business Council, an idea which emerged as a result of the 5th Sarajevo International Business Forum held in May this year.
“As mayor of Sarajevo, I am honoured to have the chance to witness the Malaysian-Bosnian Business Council being established. In these hard times it is encouraging to know that B&H has so many important and influential friends ready to help Sarajevo get back on the economic and entrepreneurship map of Europe and the world.” – emphasized Komšić.
He added that “this friendship means that from now on we have a strong commitment to always look after our newly established council.”
The prime minister Kadir thanked mayor Komšić and the town of Sarajevo on this friendly gesture and sent an official proposition for Sarajevo and the capital of the district Perak, Ipoh to become twin towns.
The Bosnian economists will, as Amer Bukvić, director of the BBI Bank stated it, from now on, have a direct connection with entrepreneurs from Malaysia – was announced from the Town Administration of Sarajevo.
