He says people in Sweden call him “Bosnian Zlatan” since he is Bosnian and one of the best cooks in his profession.
“It flatters me. When someone compares you to Zlatan Ibrahimović then it means you are good. It confirms your quality. The two of us are very much alike, we both love fast cars and always say what is on our mind except they take away my drivers licence more often.” – jokes Džemat.
While working in some famous restaurants, he had the occasion to meet numerous celebrities.
“I cooked dinner for Bill Gates, Elton John, the Swedish king and the queen several times…it’s a long list.” – added Edin.
When it comes to Bosnian cuisine, Edin says that B&H has the best street food in the world.
“Ćevapi and burek are fascinating. It worries me that we tend to leave our specialties a side. We should fight for what is ours, protect and brand our products.” – said one of the finest world’s chefs.
