A meeting of representatives of the political parties in government at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina has begun in Sarajevo, the agenda of which is the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
The meeting is attended by the leaders of SNSD Milorad Dodik, HDZ Dragan Čović, and the party “Coalition of the Three” consisting of the presidents of SDP Nermin Nikšić, People and Justice Elmedin Konaković and Our Party Edin Forto.
SNSD vice presidents Željka Cvijanović and Radovan Višković, SNSD Presidency member Staša Košarac and SNSD general secretary Srđan Amidžić are also present.
The meeting is held in the building of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly in Sarajevo.
SNSD President Milorad Dodik said earlier that he will say at the meeting that everything that was previously agreed must be implemented and that he will very openly point out “the fact that from the beginning there were at least six or seven agreements that they made on various issues and that they were never carried out”.
The President of People and Justice, Elmedin Konaković, said last week that topics are piling up because there is no political communication at the level they had before, and that he believes that some political prerequisites will be released at this meeting, in order to further adopt documents more effectively.
Last week, the leaders of HDZ and SNSD, Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, met in East Sarajevo for, as Čović stated, a working meeting.
“A working meeting with partners from the government on the current political situation and steps to speed up the European path and the general development of BiH. A stable political dialogue of all government stakeholders is needed, as well as the implementation of all priority issues,” Čović pointed out, Srna writes.
