Member of B&H Presidency Leading B&H Delegation at Meeting of North Atlantic Council and B&H in Brussels

Member of the B&H Presidency Željko Komšić will lead a B&H delegation, composed of the B&H Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ana Trišić-Babić, advisors for foreign affairs of members of the B&H Presidency, Chief of Joint Staff of the B&H Armed Forces Anto Jeleč and Head of the B&H Mission to NATO Branimir Jukić at the North Atlantic Council and B&H meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels.

There will be a bilateral meeting with the NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and after the meeting there will be a press conference where member of the B&H Presidency Željko Komšić and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will speak.

The meeting of the B&H delegation and the North Atlantic Council will be held as part of the consultations between the North Atlantic Council with countries aspiring for NATO membership (B&H, Macedonia, Montenegro and Georgia), as well as preparations for the NATO summit that would be held in September in Great Britain.

The aim of the meeting is the exchange of views on the progress of B&H towards NATO membership, and the implementation of the program of cooperation with NATO and the progress achieved in this field, announced the B&H Presidency.
