New political party of the member of BiH Presidency Željko Komšić will be named ‘Democratic Front’, confirmed Komšić himself yesterday in Sarajevo to journalists and noted that the preparations for the Constituent Assembly which will be held on 7 April are in the final stage.
‘Technically, everything is ready. We have fulfilled everything that was legally required. So, according to the law, a Constituent Assembly of at least 50 members must be held, but there will be much more’, said Komšić.
On the question of journalists will there be any well-known names in the party, Komšić said that he’s personally interested that people who join the party are honest and honourable.
‘The concept of the party is conceived so that this part offers something new to the citizens of this country, because I believe that this generation of politicians, my generation, and those older, did not prove itself to be able to lead BIH on a stable path towards the EU and NATO’, said Komšić.
He noted that the chance should be given to younger generation of people with new ideas.
‘When we, my generation, ruined its political chance, conceptually there is no other way but to give the chance to new people’ said Komšić.
He added that BIH has a large number of well-educated and capable people who can lead BiH on the right path.
