Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić met in Washington with the Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America (USA) for European and Eurasian Affairs James O’Brien.
At the meeting at the State Department, which lasted more than an hour, a number of important topics were discussed in the context of the challenges that Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as all the countries of the Western Balkans, are currently facing, announced the Cabinet of the BiH Presidency member.
Special attention is paid to the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its progress on the road to Euro-Atlantic integration.
The importance of the intensified continuation of reforms that will enable the acceleration of integration processes and the improvement of the quality of life of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina was emphasized.
Assistant Secretary of State James O’Brien reiterated US support for Bosnia and Herzegovina in those reform processes, as well as the continuation of constructive and friendly relations between the two countries.
