Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina(AFBiH), the 12th rotation of staff personnel, returned last week to BiH, after six months spent in the European Union’s (EU) peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic (CAR).
Major Mirsad Dedic, Sergeant Major First Class Oliver Skocibusic, and Senior Sergeant First Class Slobodan Kecman successfully performed military and humanitarian tasks during the mission of peace observers in the Central African Republic, and due to their efforts and work they were declared the best contingent in the mission.
Upon return of the BiH contingent to their country, the members of the AFBiH were welcomed in Camp Butmir on March 15thby the commander of the Operational Command of the AFBiH, Brigadier General Mirzet Lubenovic.
On that occasion, he expressed his gratitude to the members of the AFBiH for the successfully completed mission, the professional and dignified representation of the AFBiH and the State of BiH abroad, and he especially expressed his satisfaction with the fact that they were declared by the commander of the CAR mission as the best contingent in the EU mission, Klix.ba reports.
