The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, threatened to “beat up” the head of the Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johann Sattler.
Dodik said this during a chat before the formal start of the meeting with political partners in Banja Luka, at a time when journalists were taking pictures.
Milorad Dodik at one point became serious, claiming that the issue of property is currently crucial and that there can be no discussion about it.
“I’m not going to talk, hello. No discussion of property. Property is not the issue. Solved by the Constitution, solved by Dayton”, he told the partners.
Nenad Stevandić, president of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and leader of the US, followed that up.
“They are asking you to send a proposal to resolve it by law at the BiH level, so they would give in if it was our part,” said Stevandić, which reminded Dodik of the position of the US ambassador, reports N1.
“So you see what Murphy says, a law must be passed in which the Parliamentary Assembly will decide to make it available to Republika Srpska. Please?” asked Dodik, and when Stevandić remarked that the head of the EU delegation, Johann Sattler, was saying the same thing, Dodik threatened:
“Well, they say the same thing. I’ll beat Sattler, you’ll see. I told him I would beat him up,” he said, Klix.ba reports.
