The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a Decision on the Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on the mutual recognition and exchange of driver’s licenses.
This Memorandum allows citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who live or reside in the Emirates to exchange a Category B driver’s license without taking a driving test, provided they meet standard administrative requirements such as holding a valid residence permit, meeting the minimum age requirement, and being medically fit.
The same applies to citizens of the United Arab Emirates who live or reside in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“This Memorandum will make everyday life easier for our citizens and reduce unnecessary costs and procedures,” said the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Edin Forto.
The Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to work on improving international cooperation and removing administrative obstacles for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina abroad.
