“The foreign-trade relations between the two countries experienced positive increase in the past year, which shows that there is space for further strengthening of the economic cooperation between the two countries, which in comparison to potentials, was relatively small,” noted Minister Sarovic.
Ministers agreed to connect chamber systems of the two countries in order to create conditions for the agreement and the direct connection of businessmen.
Minister Sarovic especially urged the signing of the agreement in the field of tourism, whose draft has already been prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.
According to Minister, the signing of this agreement “would be especially important to BiH because Malta is a tourist force that hosts about two million tourists on an annual basis, which is four times more than its population.”
Minister Abela expressed his support for the EU path of our country, and noted that this support is not only political, but they are ready to provide their help in fields where Malta has the best experience and greatest results, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
