Minus 16 Degrees Celsius Today in Sarajevo

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has issued an orange warning due to extremely low temperatures from Sunday to Monday, in the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The warning refers to the period from last night at 10 p.m. to today at 10 a.m., and according to forecasts, temperatures in most parts of the country will range from -15 to -10, while values ​​from -6 to -2 degrees are expected in the south.

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute warns that such low temperatures could pose a health risk for the elderly, children and chronic patients.

Citizens are advised to avoid prolonged stay outdoors during the night and early morning hours, and to follow the recommendations of competent institutions and civil protection services.

The highest daily air temperature is mostly between -5 and 1°C, in the south of the country up to 4°C.

In Sarajevo, it will be sunny with moderate cloudiness. The lowest morning air temperature is around -14°C, and the highest daytime temperature is around -4°C – according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH.
