An extensive attack on Israel was launched from Lebanon the day before yesterday, with over 100 strikes reported throughout Saturday. The missile assault continued yesterday morning, with sirens sounding in the north of the country.
More than 130 rockets were fired on northern Israel from Lebanon on Saturday, repeatedly triggering sirens and sending people to shelters, according to the Israeli military.
Meanwhile, 10 drones targeted Israel – six from Lebanon, three from Iraq, and one of unknown origin. The military intercepted seven of these drones.
In an early morning rocket attack in central Israel, 11 people were injured when one of three rockets hit a house in Tira. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated it is investigating the failure to intercept the rocket.
The missile attack continued yesterday morning, concentrating on the Galilee, with sirens heard in Acre, Haifa, and several nearby communities close to the northern border with Lebanon.
According to Israeli sources, approximately 10 rockets were launched toward northern Israel yesterday morning. The military reported that some were intercepted, while others struck the ground, Klix.ba writes.
