Mohamed Salah decorated his Christmas Tree and wished a Merry Christmas

Mohamed Salah is one of the few Muslim footballers who every year with his wife Magi and children wish a Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it under the Christmas tree. He did it again this year as well.

He took a photo of the Christmas tree and posted it on Instagram, along with a slightly longer description and wishing his followers a ‘Merry Christmas’.

In the post, he also touched on the suffering that the people of Palestine, that is, the Gaza Strip, are going through.

“Christmas is a time for families to gather and celebrate. With the brutal war going on in the Middle East, especially the death and destruction in Gaza, this year we come to Christmas with heavy hearts and share the pain of those families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. Please don’t forget them and don’t get used to their suffering. Merry Christmas,” wrote Mohamed Salah.

In less than an hour, thousands of people commented on Mohamed Salah’s post, and there were again plenty of negative comments.

“Continued disappointment from this person who represents nothing but himself and does not represent Arabs at all,” is one of them.

It should be recalled that in previous years Mohamed Salah wished a Merry Christmas and received negative comments because he is a Muslim, but obviously, he doesn’t care too much about it.
