More than 10 kg of Drugs found in Trebinje and Bileca

During the operation “Fabija”, which is aimed at preventing the abuse of narcotic drugs, the Trebinje police searched several locations in the area of ​​Bileće and Trebinje this morning, June 16, and on that occasion they arrested four people.

According to the information so far, searches were carried out at six locations in the area of ​​the Trebinje Police Department, and at four locations in the area of ​​Mostar.

According to the Trebinje police, about 10.5 kilograms of marijuana and 42 kilograms of heroin were seized.

One of the arrested was handed over to SIPA, while one person is on the run.

“This morning, on June 16, 2026, the police started an operation in the area of ​​Trebinje and Mostar, targeting drug dealers,” it was confirmed earlier this morning in “Nezavisne novine”.

The actions were carried out by officers of the PU Trebinje in cooperation with the Directorate for Serious and Organized Crime of the MUP of the Republika Srpska, with the support of the Gendarmerie of the MUP of the Republika Srpska.

Let us remind you that yesterday, June 15, the MUP of the RS carried out the operation “Pelikan” in the area of ​​Zvornik and Bijeljina.

On that occasion, more than two kilograms of cocaine, three digital scales, 982 packs of cigarettes, three pistols and three pistol barrels, two silencers, two kilograms of plastic explosives, 823 grams of TNT bullets, 26 pieces of initiator capsules, nine remote controls for the detonator were found and confiscated.
