
In Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, and Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia, 38 degrees were measured. In Tirana, the capital of Albania, was a degree less at 37, while Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, had an identical 36 degrees Celsius.
The “coldest” capital city was Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, at 35 degrees. The “coldest” among the region’s bigger cities was Maribor, at 34 degrees Celsius.
